Come down to Beale Street Cafe for an afternoon of entertainment featuring many of your old buddies from the Thursday night jam.

Requested donations are $5, or gently-used clothing and nonperishable food. Thank you!

The Music Line up

2pm: Welcome

2:20 - 3pm:
The amazing father & son folk/blues duo Andy and Ernie Lawrence will perform blues and discuss history—engaging the audience like they did last year with their stories and “blues hollers”. They’ll be joined by Rico Christopher on Fender Bass.

3:15 - 4pm:
Steve West will demonstrate his approach to his Americana styles using his knowledge of blues. He will be joined by Ross Bracco on upright bass and Curtis Waterman on harmonica, as the Tabletop Three
They began their musical Odyssey at our weekly jam sessions.

(Let’s put away any false rumors right now: Tabletop Three did not get their name by standing on top of a table! Rather it was how many seconds they stood atop the table before...... well, you know the rest!)

4:15 - 4:45:
Curtis Waterman, probably the best harmonica player you’ll ever see around will highlight the day demonstrating techniques that will blow you away. I’ll join Curtis with some back-up chops.

5:00 - 5:45pm:
Gordon Munding will reveal some basic Delta Guitar Secrets and open tunings. (He’ll be joined by Jay Chaffee on Upright Bass and Tom Karadag who has been wood-shedding on some very cool Son House and Fred MacDowell material!)

6:00 -7pm:
The Jug Sliders will end the festivities with a jam session. Ryan Griffith on upright bass, Curtis Waterman and myself, will bring up Tom Kaminsky on his accordion to round out the the Cajun connection to blues, toward the end of this set.

Throughout the show, bass players Ryan Griffith, Rico Christopher, Ross Bracco, & Jay Chaffee each have a different perspective of what a bass player brings to the table! So they will be interspersing comments in the workshops about Bass-ic blues.

Last but not least we will have our sound balanced by Bruce Campbell!
